#ASD Next State, Transition ASDNext is an initiative of the Autism Services, Education, Resources and Training (ASERT) Collaborative. It was developed to help fill the growing need for resources and support to help teens and young adults with autism transition to “adult” life after school.

Abilities in Motion, Reading Independent Living The mission of ABILITIES IN MOTION the Berks County Center for Independent Living (BCCIL) is to help people determine their own individual lifestyle, based on personal choice, from a wide spectrum of acceptable alternatives.

Access Home Modification – PHFA Topic, Housing The Access Home Modification Program provides mortgage loans to assist persons with disabilities or who have a family member(s) living in the household with disabilities who are purchasing a home that needs accessibility modifications.

Access Way To Go Transportation a coordinated, shared-ride para-transit service, the program offers a person-centered solution to individual transportation needs.

Accessible Transportation Resource Center Accessible Transportation, National The Accessible Transportation Resource Center's mission is to make transportation systems, vehicles, services, apps, and websites accessible for people with disabilities, older adults, historically underserved populations, and the general population. We carry out this work by increasing awareness and adoption of transportation accessibility strategies, inclusive planning, and Mobility on Demand (MOD) transportation systems.

ACHIEVA Advocacy, State ACHIEVA advocates for, empowers, and supports people with disabilities and their families throughout their lives. The organization provides many supports and services in the Western Pennsylvania area and serves as a primary advocacy source.

ADA National Network National provides information, guidance and training on how to implement the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in order to support the mission of the ADA to “assure equality of opportunity, full participation, independent living, and economic self-sufficiency for individuals with disabilities.”

ADAPT National grass-roots community that organizes disability rights activists to engage in nonviolent direct action, including civil disobedience, to assure the civil and human rights of people with disabilities to live in freedom.

Administration for Community Living (ACL) National The Administration for Community Living was created around the fundamental principle that older adults and people of all ages with disabilities should be able to live where they choose, with the people they choose, and with the ability to participate fully in their communities.

Affordable Connectivity Program National, Digital Access The Affordable Connectivity Program is a program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband internet they need for work, school, healthcare and more. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. The webpage gives eligibility and sign up information.

AHEAD Topic, Employment assists youth and adults that are interested in exploring/securing/maintaining employment in competitive work settings.

AID in PA Independent Living AID in PA is home to resources designed to support individuals with autism and or an intellectual or developmental disability, their parents and caregivers, professionals and the communities across Pennsylvania.

Assistive Technology Lending Library Assistive Technology, Topic a free service that loans assistive technology devices to people with disabilities. It's available to Pennsylvanians of all ages and disabilities.


Assoc. for Adults with Developmental Disabilities Community Involvement & Community Living, Education, Inclusion Association for Adults with Developmental Disabilities' (AADD) mission is to provide education, discussion, and social activities that men and women with developmental disabilities 18 years and older to live more independent lives while helping to support caregivers and helping to increase acceptance of in our community.
