Summary: This is a training curriculum on Supporting Diverse Learners in School and in the Community to assure all children are receiving the appropriate education with access to a quality general education curriculum. The reauthorization of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1997 reaffirms that students with disabilities belong in the regular education classroom, along with their peers without disabilities. This training is designed to increase awareness and build knowledge of an inclusive education.
