Disability Pride PA and the Disability Pride Central PA committee are hosting its inaugural Disability Pride Central PA on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Harrisburg’s Capitol Complex. The celebration will include disability advocates, guest speakers, live performances, food trucks, resource tables, and a parade. The overall goal is to promote the pride felt within our community, educate others on what access looks like, and a day where we can come together and celebrate who we are, our accomplishments, and our work for equality.

You must register for this event to receive a food voucher for one of the food trucks and goodie bag.

This is a latex free event. We will have ASL interpreters at the stage, 2 will be able to help when asked at a table, and more reasonable accommodations can be requested on the registration form. We will not supply any transportation or personal care attendants. 3 ADA accessible port a potties onsite along with a small changing tent. We will also secure a ‘decompression zone’ for those that may need a break from the activities. Please let us know 14 days in advance if we can provide you with an accommodation. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.
