The PA Developmental Disabilities Council has a positive IMPACT on the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families. Our investments EMPOWER self-advocates and their families to achieve their vision of everyday lives in the community; CHANGE SYSTEMS so that individuals with disabilities and their families have access to needed services, a voice in the design of the systems they need for support, and have opportunities for self-determination; and CHANGE SOCIETY so that people with disabilities have control of their life choices, and are fully engaged with, and participate in all facets of community life.
