On July 28, 2015, the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council held a discussion entitled “Examining the School to Prison Pipeline”. The School to Prison Pipeline is a nationwide system of local, state and federal education and public safety policies that pushes students out of school and into the juvenile/criminal justice systems. This system disproportionately targets youth of color and youth with disabilities.  Participants who attended this discussion requested more information and resources to learn more about this issue.

Please find at the link below a compendium of resources, articles and suggested readings on this most important issue.
