National Organization on Disabilities National promotes the full participation and contributions of America’s 57 million people with disabilities in all aspects of life. NOD focuses on increasing employment opportunities for the 80-percent of working-age Americans with disabilities who are not employed.

Self-Advocates Becoming Empowered (SABE) National

Sensory Friendly Cities Education, Inclusion, Universal Design/Accessibility Sensory Friendly Cities Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that seeks to create inclusive environments for all people who experience sensory differences. Their mission is to raise awareness, educate, and create environments that allow all people to participate fully in desired experiences.

The ADA & Accessible Ground Transportation Accessible Transportation, National The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to both public and private ground transportation providers. The ADA rules that apply to transportation are regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The page provides an overview of requirements.

THINK College Post-Secondary Education Think College provides resources, technical assistance and training related to college options for students with intellectual disability, and manages the only national listing of college programs for students with intellectual disability in the United States.
