Dear Advocates, Friends, and Fellow Independence Warriors,

On behalf of the Centers for Independent Living (CILs) of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Statewide Independent Living Council, and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 1^st ever virtual Independent Living Conference.

We are excited to offer a conference experience like none other. As advocates in a cross-disability community, we are in the unique position to recognize the skills and services that when united, will enhance the Independent Living Movement and keep it alive for the next generation.

Our conference theme is “The Fight Goes On”. Disability rights advocate and Netflix documentary “Crip Camp” star, Judith Heumann, will deliver the opening day keynote. Judy will be highlighting the path and work done by amazing advocates in the fight for the Independent Living Movement over the decades and where the fight is going today.
