This class provides basic to advanced level knowledge and skills for handling law enforcement interactions and crisis response to individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism and related conditions.

Presenters include an autism counseling and presenting professional, an experienced police officer, and an experienced EMS provider who is on the autism spectrum.

Target audience includes Law Enforcement, First Responders (Fire/EMS), Justice Officials (Magistrates, DA and Public Defender Offices, etc ), Correctional Officers, Social Workers, and anyone who may interact with developmental disabilities in crisis or criminal justice settings.
