The Institute on Disabilities at Temple University, in partnership with Disability Rights Pennsylvania, Self-Advocates United as One (SAU1), and the Pittsburgh Center for Autistic Advocacy, is offering face-to-face training on the HCBS (Home and Community Based Service) Final Rule. People with disabilities, family members and support professionals can attend a Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 11 AM – 1 PM at ACHIEVA, 316 Donohoe Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.

Learn:
– the Rule’s requirements and benefits;
– how the Rule promotes person-centered planning;
– to advocate for supports and services to make sure this Rule works for you or those you support.

Presenter: Rose Warman, family trainer

Attendees may bring a lunch and the Institute will provide drinks and light snacks.
