Disability Day of Mourning – Pittsburgh

March 1, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Event Navigation

Join us on March 1st to fight back against narratives of disability that frame our lives as worthless. Each year, dozens of people with disabilities are murdered by their parents and caregivers. Join the Pittsburgh Center for Autistic Advocacy and the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work MSW Student Executive Council as we mourn those we have lost and fight for a future where every disabled person is valued. The venue is wheelchair accessible. ASL interpretation will be provided. Therapy animals will be on site. For questions, access needs, or press inquiries, email info@autisticpgh.org.
