February 1 @ 12:00 pm

Event Navigation

To kick off Black History Month, we invite you to join HBCU 20×20 and the National Organization on Disability on February 1, 2024, for “Black & Disabled: Creating Equity in Overlooked Spaces.” This panel conversation will cover the intersections of Blackness, academia, and career achievement while living with a disability. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about advocating for themselves and how to be an ally for those who are disabled. If you have different learning styles, use an IEP, 504, adjustments, or accommodations at school, or a student with a disability, we have news. Employers are seeking your talent and committing to your success. HBCU 20×20 and the National Organization on Disability will be here to uncover how to navigate the professional world with confidence while using your accommodations. Let February 1st be the start of our disability empowerment to kickstart your career journey! This event is open to all!
