SUMMARY:Opening Doors Together Accessible Housing Conference 2024
DESCRIPTION:Self-Determination Housing of Pennsylvania believes that housing is a human right for everyone and that all individuals with disabilities and older adults should have access to safe\, affordable\, accessible housing.  This conference aims to expand choice and control in housing for individuals with disabilities and older adults through innovative workshop sessions\, a thought-provoking keynote plenary\, an exhibit experience\, and networking opportunities. Scholarships are available.\n\nScholarship details:\n-In-person and virtual scholarship opportunities available for persons 18 and older\n-Applications are now available\, and will be due by Tuesday May 14th\, 2024\n-Responses will be sent out end of May\n-Scholarship recipients will be expected to pay $25 towards registration\n-Scholarships are non-transferable

DESCRIPTION:The Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania’s 2024 Annual Conference will be held in person on Monday\, June 24th through Tuesday\, June 25th\, 2024 at the Lancaster Marriott & Convention Center located in\nLancaster\, Pennsylvania. This year’s annual conference theme is “Creating Roadmaps for Brain Injury Rehabilitation: The Journey from Initial Treatment to Community Inclusion.” It is designed for professionals\, survivors\, family members\,\ncaregivers and volunteers. By registering for the full conference\, you will have the opportunity to earn 11 CEU credits. There will also be one day sessions for caregivers of children with brain injury and for pediatric professionals\, in addition to the regular conference content. \n\nThe cost of the conference is professionals $475 (one day $325); Survivors/Caregivers $325 (one day $175)
